Endeavor
Can employees present or past tell me about Endeavor?
Pay
Qol
How is the LGA base. Is it junior / time to holding a line.
* Also a general question about all regionals but are you generally given a choice as to which aircraft you would like to fly? Is this in writing?
Thanks.

The pay is low. The QOL sucks since they are short staffed. You will not hold a line unless they can get new hires in behind you. It is thought that JFK and LGA will be the junior base but we will find out tomorrow when we see if pilots get displaced to NY or more senior pilots bid for it. You don't get to pick what aircraft you're on but if NY becomes the junior base you'll be on the 900. If Dtw or MSP is junior you'll be in the 200.

I'm continually surprised by the amount of people that come on to these web boards for information on specific airlines. To me it seems that most of the people that post on here are of the jaded variety, and I wish there was a better balance. In my opinion, pick an airline for bases and equipment. Beyond that almost all regionals share the same problems with unpredictable futures. Also There's a few, for right now a least, that show promise of a quicker upgrade, if that's important to you. Good luck to you

I don't believe you are going to hear very many good things about Endeavor at this time. To many people have been beat down and are discouraged at this point.
If you live in NY or close to there (single leg commute or you can drive). Endeavor might be an ok place to come to. JFK is the Jr base and probably will continue to be. LGA hasn't opened yet and we are still building that up with current vacancies. Either base is the crj 900.
I would say we have good work rules and fair pay protections compared to our peers. We have min day and cancelation pay that some of the others don't and some other stuff. We also have the problem with low pay and capped pay at 4 yrs for FO'S and 8 for CA. The biggest problem we is lack of upgrades along with some fenced quotas.
Catch 22...we need people and can keep as many planes that we can staff. There aren't very many pilots out in the market and OR they won't come here because of the above.
I could point out bad things about every regional right now and why I wouldn't go to that Co even Skywest and Compass which I feel are good places to go. The regional environment is changing fast. Just a guess, come 2015 things will look a whole lot different than they do today either with mergers, Co being sold, or complete shut downs.
I would say go where you can live in or close to base and put some time in and watch this industry unfold a little more. If you come to Endeavor...Welcome.

Best you can do to a potential 9E candidate is point him in the right direction for him/her to get all the info, see the big picture, and decide for him/herself. We're all big boys now.
Give the guys all the current facts and info, then let them put the "forum BS" aside and pull the trigger on where they wanna go.

Right on thanks for the information. Anything else would be good. I clicked on endeavors HR page before but it failed out. Min day and cancellation pay seem like a plus I believe these dont exist at Republic for instance. Vacation time anyone? 1 week or 2 ? Again anything else thanks it all helps. ** excluding neg unhelpful baiting/flaming comments
