And also...as I understand it, PSA is now a wholly owned of AAG. Does this mean a PSA pilot would have to pay to commute on their own metal like envoy and AA pilots currently currently do?
TYS is running almost 0 reserve time right now. DAY and CLT a little longer, but most likely not more than 3ish months.

Commuting does not cost anything.

It's possible to hold a line right out of training in TYS and swap all your TYS trips for CLT trips.

The recruiter today at the job fair spoke very highly of the scheduling system. Says its easy to arrange your schedule as necessary for the month and credit a lot per month if you know how to do it. He also claimed that a 2nd year FO was able to make $60,000+ because of being able to credit it so much. Says a new hire on property tomorrow could upgrade by the beginning of 2016.

All that is true.

60k is possible I suppose on 2nd year pay but certainly not the norm. That's almost 150 hours per month. You'd have to be both good at manipulating the SAP and open time as well as probably being a little lucky and working a lot.

45k would be way more realistic. 150 hours in a month is possible but maintaining that throughout an entire year is probably a stretch.

The upgrade by 2016 should be in the cards. 2.5-3 years is what I would guess for a new hire today.
