When was the last time Delta did anything good for their contract partners? Right now they're being very selective. It'll take a while, but as the qualified pool dries up they may find themselves short on pilots. It'll be interesting to see how American and United do with their hiring

Compass very much still has a flow, for pilots hired before 8/2010.
Not only does Compass still have flow, the language in the flow agreement is far stronger than anything in the EtD agreement. The compass flow isn't going anywhere. The interview for pilots hired after 8/2010 is unknown.

What a tool.

Thanks for the response. I can understand screwing up an approach in the sim or something like that, but if you just give a lackluster HR interview, is that still a "try again in a year" sort of thing, or is it solely reserved for making tangible factual or simulator mistakes?
They are looking at your personality and how you would fit in socially. Where guys go wrong is being argumentative, not paying attention to the female in the room. Generally not being prepared may still get you another try, depending on how well you come across. The psych portion guys fail because they don't realize what the shrink is doing. they will try to push buttons to see what the response is. Come across as defensive, aggressive, or combative, and it's game over.
Mess up the computer testing, they will let you try again.

There is no sim ride. The interview consists of a written test, (done on a computer,) a cognitive skills test also on a computer, the face to face, and the psych test (MMPI) and interview. The two portions that will get you blacklisted is the face to face and the psych interview if you bone them.

It is essentially a full-up Delta interview. Testing is the same, Delta HR and Captain on the panel (not sure about the other pilot) and MMPI / psych eval (Delta's psychologist). They discussed this at Indoc.

News flash Delta is controlling the hiring at Endeavor. If Delta wants you then Endeavor will hire you and if they don't then.......you know the rest. Once hired under ETD you will flow. If they cancel ETD this will affect future candidates not ones already in the program. The situation at Endeavor is tough right now due to lack of staffing. If people show up then things will get better fast upgrades and month to month improvements in relative seniority. Delta likes the control they have over Endeavor and if they can staff it they will make it big.
