Pay caps. Capts cap out at yr 12, FOs top out at year 4. More than likely if you're hired now, it won't affect you. But, it will affect those who are hired down the road. Who knows how long, possibly years. If there's another 9-11 type event or the economy crashes, it'd be sooner.

BINGO, this is what the PSA guys that are trying to justify themselves don't get. If you notice every time anyone mentions the pay cap, "it won't/shouldn't affect us (you) in this industry environment" is not too far behind in their explanation/justification. You should come here! (so I can upgrade faster). You're selfish

I don't hate PSA "because someone told me to". Besides what they've done to the industry, I hate PSA because I was there, and hated it. The culture there is absolutely awful, the management was terrible. I have a number of friends looking for flying jobs, and I'm telling them in the strongest terms possible to look elsewhere, for their own benefit and sanity. I'm glad I got out.
