It's as good of information as we will get. The union wastes all of it's time writing worthless emails to give val a reach around and "congratulate" him for going to AA. Congratulations Val, you didn't retire or die before your flow number was called, quite an accomplishment.
Tl;dr ALPA is useless.

“American would like to place some of its large regional aircraft with Envoy, but the economics of Envoy’s current contract are not competitive,” Norton said.
what a load of shi +. E175 at crj700 pay rates for four years, now down to 18 months. they can give them away at a fire sale if they like.

Here's your update, it's called whipsawing and 12/4.
Fellow Pilots:
Earlier today a Tentative Agreement (TA) was reached between the Piedmont MEC Negotiating Committee and Management Representatives from Piedmont Airlines and American Airlines Group regarding the re-fleet talks of the last several months. The next step in this process will be to convene a Special MEC Meeting, which is now scheduled for this Friday, August 22nd, at the ALPA Herndon facility in Herndon, VA. The MEC will receive a thorough briefing from the Negotiating Committee on the TA for our consideration.
An announcement will be forthcoming after the MEC meeting has concluded. On behalf of the entire MEC, I thank you for your patience and understanding.
Sincerely,
Captain Bruce Freedman Piedmont MEC Chairman
