Default Endeavor 2015

Hi everyone,

I've worked for Endeavor for 3 years, but have been on military leave the last 2+ for OTS/UPT/Seasoning. Get off orders a few months into next year and have to go back to newhire training.

Questions:

1. What would be likely Junior bases in Spring/summer of 2015. I would like to be in the Northeast, as I live here now and love it

2. I was pretty much still the bottom of the totem pole when I left in the spring of 2012, and was wondering if there has been or is expected to be any people come in behind me.

3. What's the culture like? Anything I should know before I go back?

4. Where would indoc/new hire training be? Minneapolis?

Thanks for your time, fly safe!

1. LGA and JFK
2. They have hired at the staggering rate of about 3 per month all year long.
3. People are leaving in droves.
4.MSP

AR or whoever runs that is not interested in the best interests of his fellow pilots... Be careful.

If you were hired on in August of 2011, All the guys around you are in JFK/LGA. 30 to 40 guys under you right now. Training is in MSP. Very laid back. They do a great job! Morale among the pilots is very low. Hopefully things will change by the time you get back. Thanks for your service and welcome back.

Thanks for all the info. That is similar to what I have gleaned from my friends still there. Hope to have a decent line in New York when I get back with (a little) seniority. Fly safe y'all!

If it's an option I'd suggest keeping on an active duty assignment and keep earning that credit toward full military retirement. Or at least stay reserve/guard to have the option to take leave again when it's available. If that's not an option in any way, it will be either JFK or LGA (pick your poison) Morale is probably about the same as Custer's men at the battle of Little Bighorn.

Have you considered getting re-hired under the EtD program? If you are only on year two pay and plan on being in NY anyway it is something I'd consider. While the program has been a colossal failure thus far who knows what the future will bring.

I would love to stay on orders, but there is only so much work to be had for a co-pilot in the reserves. A lot more now as pilots are going to the regionals and majors in droves from my unit, but still probably not enough to make the same amount. Lobbying to get a deployment for the pay/flying hours. I will hopefully be working a lot with my unit once my orders run out, but still not full time. I need to get my ATP with Endeavor still too, as I left to the military a few months before they made the ATP mandatory. Again, thanks for all the advice/info!
