Growth aircraft, our 200s leases don't start expiring until 2019. Hiring 60-80 a month for the next two years at least and longer if the 40 CRJ900s show up in 2017.

Change that to CRJ CA, and cry into your bag of money, noobie.

Could the timing of this announcement be a signal of some kind to Piedmont?

If I was a Envoy FO I'd be filling out my PSA, Mesa, or Compass app right now.

And that's why they can continue to whipsaw regionals with no consequences. It would be crazy for management to offer pay raises when people are leaving more expensive companies for the cheap ones left and right. Whoever takes the next pay cut to lower the bar further than PSA and Mesa will be the next quick upgrade airline that everyone runs to.

What's the incentive to improve pay when pilots are willing to bend over and take the cuts?

Ask the pinnacle guys how much leases mean....

I think Parker isn't willing to cave in to the eagle group after he said they need to take concessions. Attrition will be sky high at eagle and they won't need to furlough most likely.

Do eagle pilots keep their flow number if they leave for other carriers such as virgin or spirit?

You just watch and lets see if these are growth or not. We only have 35 -200s so it would be at least 12 growth aircraft regardless but the plan is to have 128 CRJ2/7/9 by the end of 2016. We can fill classes, Endeavor can not.

Another good reminder to keep moving up until the airline name on the paycheck matches the airline name on the tail.
