Oh I did give give them a break. In less time than it took him/her to login and write this post, the OP could have read all of this same info on numerous preexisting threads. It sounded fairly sarcastic to be honest, and while this may seem hard to believe, some people get a thrill off the attention they get online.

Everyone,
Endeavor to Delta sounds like an amazing opportunity. I have read every single article on the subject and how the hiring process goes. I understand that the contract says pilots will have to fly a minimum of 2 years in the left seat with Endeavor before upgrading to Delta. After about 5 years at Endeavor, you should be upgraded to Delta. If this is all true, why are there so many pilots complaining about EtD? Delta is an awesome company and I know Endeavor has their problems (which regional doesn't?) but I really think Delta is about to help this regional out. I will start applying to regionals soon and as of right now EtD seems like the best option.
Any opinions, ext. would be appreciated!

You can't possibly be that clueless. Save yourself the trouble and take a truck full of old tires and soiled diapers, light it on fire and breathe deeply. It will smell better than the future of the regional airline industry, especially Endeavor's future.

If a pilot gets hired at Endeavor today they will upgrade within 3 years. People who keep talking about 8 year FO's are using the past to predict the future. This is not the way it works. Years ago when Pinnacle was hiring off the street captains there were First Officers that had been there a couple of years. Upgrade time changes quickly. Starting in January the amount of Captains headed to Delta will go up to 25 per month. This will create the kind of movement that will get upgrades started. The First Officers that are currently leaving in droves are causing the 200's to be parked faster than desired. If they were to stop now upgrades would be probably start within a few months. This is all speculation and everyone needs to make their own choices. During my tenure in the airlines I have seen upgrade swing from 0 to several years quite a few times. The 5 year slow down by increasing the retirement age is something that has thrown things off and its unlikely to happen again in the future. Again I repeat my guess is that someone hired today is upgrading before 10/2017.

The more FOs who leave 9E the longer the upgrade becomes.
But honestly can you blame those that leave? I don't.

I would take the EtD, as it is an offer of employment from mainline Delta. The risk is getting stuck at 9E, however, that risk is real everywhere else as well. The big thing is that if Endeavor shuts its doors, you go to Delta instead of the street. I don't think you could say the same about any other regional.
The EtD is extremely hard to get though, we have had 800+ applications for it, and only about 40 made it through all the way, with about 10 actually showing up for class. You really need to be mainline competitive to get through it. This month we only have 1 EtD pilot, a former Comair pilot.
