I love mccpilotlog. I wish I remember which captain showed me it so I could thank him. makes LBP seem archaic.

Eh, it's $69.99 for both the Mac and iOS versions, which if I remember correctly, were $69.99 each or something like that. Realistically, it's 6 of one or half a dozen of the other, depending on how long between updates this guy goes.
LBP users can do the parallels or bootcamp thing if they need to and save the coin.

You're missing the annual fee. Before, it was a one-time purchase. Now, they want to bill you to use the software on an ongoing basis. Stupidest thing I've ever seen. I hope they go out of business.
They are heavy on marketing and light on performance in the first place.

MCC is great -- especially customer service. My only hang up is that my iPad will not break down times for me. I log my flights in the iPad then sync. It backs up onto the cloud and my PC. The PC is the only place I can get breakdowns of flight time. Other than that, it works well for me! And the price is right.

A LTP user wrote this on Coradine's FB page...
THIS is from an email from Coradine in 2012:
"We listened, here's what you said.
We conducted a customer feedback survey in early January and we wanted to share the valuable results we received from thousands of your peers.
The majority of pilots felt the initial price was pretty close, but the upgrade price was too high (which was exacerbated by the fact that this was the first time a major new version of LogTen Pro launched for Mac, iPad and iPhone all at the same time).
-- 74% of respondents were in favor of paid upgrades, as opposed to a subscription or in-app purchase model.
-- 80% of you want a universal app so you can run LogTen Pro on both iPhone and iPad with one app.
-- 81% are running Mac OS X Lion
-- 79% have an iPhone 4 or 4S
-- 80% have an iPad (with the majority having an iPad 2).
Thank you for your honest feedback. We always want to consider the customer first when deciding the future direction the company takes.
User's Response:
Really? So what happened to 74% of respondents? What happened to you always wanting to consider the customer first when deciding the future direction the company takes?
You've lost your way and you're losing all of your customers.
You have NO idea how small the aviation community is. You should, but apparently you do not.

Here's another gotcha learned the hard way with Coradine/LTP....when I upgraded my Mac OS software, LTP stopped working. I called and their solution was to buy a newer version of LTP. No thanks, see ya. With OS Yosemite coming out/just released who knows what will happen to LTP users?
