It would not be the first time. CHQ 140s were loaded in the delta system 2 years ago long before any official announcement. Then american extended their contract at the last minute. The type was there and routes out of dtw were scheduled.

Why? It's about to expire.

The DBA part likely doesn't display in the cell since the AWAC name is much longer than the others

Endeavor will be getting rid of their 200s and become an all 900 operator. ZW has been at the GO for several weeks finalizing the flying contract.

I haven't heard any rumors on who will fly them beyond current DCI carriers already operating 200's (most logical with existing bases and such) but it wouldn't surprise me to see AWAC flying 200's for DCI.

Before the Comair shutdown was "officially" announced, many of us knew it was coming when there were no Comair flights out of DTW in DLNet after Sept. 5, 2012. We knew it was coming before the announcement. It was one of the worst kept secrets ever.

I am under the impression AWAC had the option to extend until 2017
