I think the issue is, that with the SSP, the score you get hired off of, is based on how you did only the day of the SSP. They don't score your application like they do with the off the street hires. Part of the panel interview is investigating issues on your app, but they don't count against you. That is a massive advantage vs someone off the street. However, once again, a flow with a modified probationary period would accomplish the same thing, as well as make 9E attractive to new hires.

Hotel in training
Hello, I would like to know if Endeavor pays for new hire hotel while in training? If so, is it single or double occupancy? Also, what is the pay like in training? Min guarentee, per diem, etc....Thanks..
To clarify, do new hires also get the interview offer at DAL or no?

Single.
Guarantee @ 75 hours with perdiem starting at OE (I believe) with incentive bonus eligibility.
Yes.
Dress warm. MSP is a bit cold for many. Summer is awesome, it's the other 9 months that are less than desirable.

Higney85 thanks for a quick response..Sounds to me as if Endeavor is a decent place to go now..I have over 3000 hours and have flown the Jetsream, ATRs,ERJs, CRJs and the A330 internationally, however, I have not flown in the past 4 years...will lack of currency be an obstacle for getting an interview? I am from Queens NY so will be looking to be based in NYC, is it easy to get NYC As a new hire? Thanks

NYC basing is extremely likely for new hires.

Apply. The guys doing hiring are down to earth folks and it seems you have a good range of experience.

Answer is NO! New hires are NOT eligible for SSP DL interview. The FO SSP is ONLY eligible for FOs that were on endeavor property when we signed the concessionary contract in 2013.

Please everyone understand that if you come to 9E as a new hire, YOU WILL NOT get an interview with Delta. The SSP is ONLY for those who were on the seniority list during concessions. Hope 2 consecutive post about this topic is enough.
