It's really not a copy of the DAL way since we don't have that relationship with them any more. It's the result of an industry-wide survey and data from aviation universities that do TEM studies as they relate to procedures and checklists.

In the end it'll be a vast improvement once the growing pains are over.

ALPA did crap for Comair pilots after shutdown. I did get one free year of the most expensive magazine subscription! Then a bill if I wanted to continue getting it! That was the ONLY personalized communication I received from my union. The only reason we got a payout by delta was because they were afraid of the chaos that would ensue to their operation during the shutdown. It was a bribe, pure and simple.

Why does that surprise you? That's been going on for decades. Mainline got pilots to relax scope by Offering a
a bribe. Look at PSA, Envoy, Endeavor etc.

Alrighty, ERJ ops done by 2018. So, uh...what we looking at - three more years and some change?

Was fun guys, good luck to you. At your attrition rates you'll all be at United before the operation shuts down anyway. #DontStress

Best case for this is you guys will upgrade at United before any current 7 year FO at ASA upgrades. Best thing that could happen for you. #EnjoyIt

Spot on. I'm already finding it to be a vast improvement, but granted I've only flown with a Captain that actually took it seriously and cared enough to do his job to the same level most Captains expect their green First Officers to perform. It was refreshing honestly.

Quit complaining. We had two months to become "aware" of the change. Company did everything they could to build awareness and answer procedural questions. Either come along or head on home.

That's not going to sit well with the jumpseat coordinator

Internet tough guy! Watch out! Oh, and one that can't spell. I'm shaking.

By the way, those airplanes were gone regardless if TSA bid for them. Are you mad that a guy wanted to actually upgrade this decade and saw the sinking ship for what it was?

I bet this guy isn't even a Captain, and therefore not in control of any jumpseats.

But if he is, I hope after he tells ALPA to eff off, he also remembers the section of our FOM that requires you to write a company report stating your reason for any jumpseat denial.

It would be a shame if some loose cannon internet tough guy got all ExpressJet pilots kicked off industry jumpseats. It's a good thing there are checks and balances to eliminate people who try these wildcat attacks.

Yo Laquisha hold my drink while serve this tool.

Spineless guys.. Really? It's spineless guys like me, that walk up to the gate to make sure there are no pilots left behind. It's spineless guys like me that makes sure you have a seat on the plane so you can make it home to your family. So denying a jumpseat that isn't even yours, so you can feel better about yourself. It's actually spineless guys like yourself that is hurting this industry, backstabbing every pilot out there that is trying to make a living.
