I am pretty sure we are conducting the switch transition as close to Delta as possible.
The reason it is taking so long is that as soon as someone starts working on it, they are hired elsewhere, and leave.

Also, the company is in the process of changing our call sign flagship, to Endeavor. We will be EDV instead of 9E.

Delta is also now tracking our GateHouse announcement performance.

I'm going to screw the endeavor vs flagship up soo many times. Apologizing ahead of time. I remember flying with XJ folks as they came over, I hope the same chuckle remains a playful aspect. Habits can be hard to change.

Sounds like it is modified from ours, which makes sense. Ours went very smoothly, but certainly wasn't perfect. Plus, you guys are a very different airline than the massive amount of fleets that had to be integrated.

Northwest...er um... Delta was a recognized callsign for a while.

Same with "Delta xxx, (instruction).......... Delta xxx, (instruction), ah hem.... Northwest xxx also known as Delta xxx, (instruction)"

If there's something 9E should mirror with Delta, it's the cockpit entry procedure in flight. And perhaps a bit of their pay mirroring would be nice as well but who's asking...

I'd use FOs for that stuff. They'd stay on property much longer and be more proud of their contributions than Captains would.

Correction: 9E would stay. It would be EDV instead of FLG.

They said it's changing to "Endeavor". That's a mouthful. I really liked "Flagship".

Anyone else in the next class on April 13th?

If so, have you heard what the aircraft/base spread is looking like?

Everyone in your class will be on the 900. As far as a base, I'm pretty sure it'll be New York but then again who knows. All the recent new hires have been able to bid to their choice.
