Well I'm trying to get to Delta and am searching for the fastest time warp.

Well, the fastest way I know of is to be military, have a bachelors degree, plus about 3000 TT with 1000 TSIC.

Delta likes Endeavor guys. Largest piece of the civilian pilot group hired recently. The guaranteed interview is nice, and you can elect to interview before it if you've got the right stuff. Or get tired of waiting

It's better then saying only half of our guys get hired......or that we are around 55% pass rate

100% is unrealistic. You will have guys that don't make it. Some guys interview poorly, have things on their resume/record that Delta doesn't like. If you MUST work for Delta interview again. But there's no reason someone who is qualified can't get on a AA, UAL, DL, or SW. Between those 4, or others, we all should be able to find a permanent home after putting in good years at 9E

Will I have a choice between the -900 and -200 when I start or is that choice based on seniority in the class? If so too bad they are mixed, I would have picked a class that was all -900.

Don't pick by aircraft. Pick by base and seniority. Read:QOL. Everyone will get to fly the -900 if they want. The -200 isn't bad, it's like driving a Miata. Fun for a little while before you get the expedition.

Depends on a couple of factors; your age in class (seniority selection of both base and aircraft) as well as what is needed in what base. You may bid and get your base of choice, but it may only have 200s available. Or you may have to take an unwanted base, but get the 900.

As Higney said, go for the base. Either where you live for best QoL, or the easiest commute if you cannot live IN base.

I am reading the quicktake on the site and wonder if someone can confirm what "Reserve pilots are allowed to base during call out window on the first day" means?

The way I read that is on day 1 of reserve I am allowed to commute on that day. Can anyone confirm or deny? I've been through the contract and am having a hard time finding the reference.

Cheers.
