Hence Skywest and Gojetz flying more in Detroit?

As far as seniority list growing, it's not massive overall I suppose, but far better than many other airlines are.

I don't understand why they keep catering to GoJet. Their performance sucks , and yet they don't do anything about it. Express jets is going to be doing more out east , hence why SkyWest is doing more out of Detroit

The 60 per month was a goal, but I don't think it has been met more than once or twice. And it doesn't account for training losses each month, of which there seem to be about 30% on average.

Looking at the Jan ISL and the Jul ISL, there is total growth of only 80 people, 1560 to 1640.

Dunno man, last time I walked through the DTW B gates there were 8 Gojetz gates in a row. They try to run hub operations from outstations. Who knew RDU wasn't going to work for Midwest/east coast flying??

Talking to people who work there, staffing numbers are continually worse, and their one draw of quick upgrade is becoming less relevant as times lower across the board.

Skywest flying at DTW is 200s from what I gather, and the ASA 200s in DTW all come from ATL, so I can see what swap working for SKW inc internally.

It's a constant shuffle, and it's only going to happen more these next few years. I'm happy flying the 200 and driving to and from work every week, so I'll stick with that!

30% per month in training losses? Seriously?

600 total new hires in 2016 is the goal. That would be 50 a month, not 60. Considering we have well over 60 people starting in July according to the FOU I think the folks in recruiting are doing a pretty good job, not to mention the money and the rapidly falling upgrade.

Talked to a senior APD two days ago and he says the washout rate is at about 18%. Which still seems high to me, but aways from 30%. Sign of the times, I guess

Why lol? I rounded up. It was actually more like 24.3%, considering the classes I was privy to.
