Are you saying since the cups don't cover the ears, you find the pressure uncomfortable after a while, pressing your ears against your head?

Which earplugs are you using, that helps alleviate the pressure?

In fact the only downside is I can't really hear a jumpseater talking unless I pull the headset off my ear. You'll just need to set the hi/low volume to hi and probably adjust the intercom/radio volume higher than normal in order to hear clearly.

I wouldn't necessarily say senior. A few people get it in every class and I'm sure a new hire would able to hold it in one, maybe two vacancies max.

Any one of them would get you to MSP in a few months. I assume its going to be a 4yr relationship so do some research and apply to your
top pick. If it doesn't work move onto 2nd choice.

Look at pay, contract, flow, etc.

As long as the apu works I'm good.

I don't care about flaps or the apu. As long as the keyboard doesn't stick, I'd go with only one engine.

Yes, my ears get pressed into my head all day with no plugs and that gets very sore. I just use the normal ear plug packets that most airlines provide free in their ops rooms.

What is the time frame from application to class date if hired? Can you pick a later class date for contract reasons?

When I interviewed back in January, they offered me any class this year from the next available class, which was 2 weeks from my interview, and gave me the choice of 200/900 or 900 only classes. I believe that has changed to all 200/900 classes (someone correct me if I'm wrong). I had to defer until July due to contractual obligations with my current employer. I can't wait to start on July 25th!

I had my interview about 2 weeks ago and someone I was there with took the May 9th class date and there was another guy who had a contract he couldn't get out of till October and they let him sign up for a October class date. You can move your class back or forward if needed, they just ask that you give them at least a 2 weeks notice. Also expect to get a call the same day you apply, I applied and got a call about 30 minutes later.

I applied on 4/19, got a call on 4/20, interviewed 4/26, and picked first available class on May 23rd. You can pick a class every two weeks all year.
