In other news, straight out of MSP in case I missed a previous post....no 700s...no Ejets...but now looking at end state 200 fleet being 65ish shells! Who loves the Barbie Jet?!
Well, with S5 drawing down 145 flying it has to be absorbed somewhere. Covering potential lost flying is a priority for DL, rather than shifting stuff around. Once the -200s are covered let's see what happens.

Compare this to a year ago, when flying was headed elsewhere. I'll take what we can right now.

Right now we only have 8 more shells scheduled to depart Kingman. Two of them were supposed to leave this morning but both are having mechanical issues and are still in Kingman.

There will be almost twice as much -200 flying in LGA in June than there is now. Don't know if they will make that a domicile. But if so, I think it will be posted on the upcoming AE. haha that's delta for vacancy. If it is not included then, then my guess is that there will be no -200 NYC domicile.

Will those be junior bases? Right now DTW 200 seems to be the most junior, but will that change? And do people have a guess at what reserve times will be?

Great news for east coasters then.
Assuming it will be coverage for the S5 -145 flying?

Most likely, people not living on the east coast want no part of NYC. Reserve will be short lived if substantial amounts of people keep coming through the door. The 200 will be your quickest path to holding a line.

Still too early to tell most of that. they haven't released specifics on how many lines either base will have. This will dictate number of crews/reserves required.
I'm surprised that they said the JFK 200 base will be larger than the LGA 200 base.

Exactly, considering right now there is very little 200 flying in JFK.
