PSA stops hiring f/o's
Got this from jet careers, seems like the party bus is slowing down?
"So I went for an interview at PSA and was told that due to their new street captain program and the backlog of FOs at different stages of training, they have suspended FO new hire classes indefinitely. They think it might be 2 months before they start training FOs again. Sounded like they weren't even going to be interviewing many FO candidates either. I got put into a hiring pool and they'll let me know when they're going to have another class. It was somewhat disappointing.
On a side note, the CP mentioned that managment is considering 3 potential cities for their new pilot base. Nashville, Louisville and Cincinnati. Said they'll announce the "winner" in August."

100+ reserves in CLT for June is more than enough. Currently FO spend two months after sims before starting IOE. Two months of no classes will get the footprint back on track.
When they start running new hire classes again, there should be very little time spent in between ground school, sims and IOE(this is good for new hires).
Upgrade classes are every two weeks. An upgrade class that goes unfilled with FOs will have street captains added in(in order to fill the class).
