These aren't climbing stalls. These are cruise stalls. Mostly.
Last I knew most were not even 200 centric, though I heard we've had a few those too now.

It must be some of those Mesa pilots we hired when Mesa was furloughing

Well, it is just United's or American's or Delta's fuel after all - what a great way to become even less competitive!

What is more than likely requested is a simple altitude change and you're never the wiser. Passing through FL310 and it's getting iffy, the PF looks at the PM and says "Request FL290".

I don't think anyone will miss you.

The fact that you fly an airplane capable of FL300 or higher is a testament to why you are still working at a regional.

How about a memo reminding you to turn off the nose landing lights?

Guys use those as a taxi light instead of the wing recognition lights

There is no FAR or requirement stating you must maintain a 500 fpm climb rate.

I saw guys freaking out over that too, I don't know why. I have 6000 hours in the 200 and yes at altitude you must reduce your rate of climb to maintain speed. That's piloting 101.

Edit, just saw someone else addressed this.
