An old pilot might teach you something useful.
At a corporate operation years ago the chairman gave his friend, retired Pan Am 747 Captain a chance to fly as Captain on a bizjet. The other pilots liked him as he would teach them things about jet flying then did not know.

Advertising a career at a regional will not attract pilots. I truly believe that was not the intention of this ad. Movement and growth attract pilots, as has been proven time and time again, not a 35 year career flying from CLT to FLO.

IRONY: a state of affairs or an event that seems deliberately contrary to what one expects and is often wryly amusing as a result.
I.e. An advert for fast movement at a regional to a major. However, they show a picture of a guy who has been there for 40 years.
That's amusing and contradictory to the message they are trying to send.
GET IT? Jeez........

Side note: the CA pictured has led a VERY interesting life serving his country. Anyone that comes here and gets to work with him should ask him about it
