If you are intimating that Mesa is persona-non-grata at LCCs or majors, that's... Funny, at best. Mean-spirited, at worst. I happen to know a Mesa FO who got an interview last week at JB and got the job 2 days later.

Im not intimating (the correct word choices would be, insinuating or implying but I get what you mean) anything. This is an amalgamation of a conversation I had with a fellow FO in DFW who said that she's leaving because she believes and has heard that Mesa pilots are "persona non grata", as well as an observation that was brought up during a conversation over lunch in DFW with a FA friend of mine that we both never hear about folks leaving this place for greener pastures.

I'm glad to hear folks are moving on, and that the industry doesn't look down on us. Thrilled even.

Captain Happy, I like it. Unfortunately, I am not a Captain, nor am I happy. I am grumpy. And my hemorrhoids are all amuck.

I am not at Mesa, but I know of pilots going TO Mesa, and I know of pilots LEAVING Mesa. (What I don't hear much of is Mesa pilots leaving for XJet). Personally, I wouldn't worry that you'll be "stuck" or looked down upon for having them on your resume.

And now, as to your attempt at correcting my word usage...

There was one Mesa captain who I thought was a "Mesa Lifer", but nope, he got on with Atlas! Mesa has a large number of Captains who've been there for 2/3rds of my life, as Mesa is one of the oldest regionals that has been stable enough to allow for such a thing. You need to look at the younger pilots, which most are moving on first chance they get. And despite the flows of other regionals, we have pilots leaving for those same majors, without a flow. The theory that you must work at Envoy, Brownstreak, or Piedmont to get on with American is not really true. I think Delta has hired more people from Mesa than they have from Endevor. Asking flight attendants about pilots leaving? Only a handful of them stick around long enough to ever notice that.

What is Mesa offering now in the way of bonus and training pay for new hires? And how much is the referral bonus now?

Referral bonus is still the same, I haven't seen any real evidence of additional pay for new hires. Just a lot of he said, she said on the forums.

Normal pay is min guarantee and no per diem while in training.

Military takes young kids out of college and trains them to be the best pilots in the world and all done in about two years. It's not about how long it takes its about the quality of trainging. I'm a Riddle guy, funny I am now flying with guys who went to ATP and doing the same job it took me four years to learn vs someone that did it in six. NOT saying one better than the other. I am just saying two different paths same outcome

Let's not forget that the military applicants to be pilots are many and the military can be very selective. They ones that make the final cut are the best and brightest America has to offer. I doubt ATP has that kind of pool to choose from. Also ATP has to compete in the market place. They have to make money so I doubt they turn many away.
