Republic Airways gets a big dose of bad news

Someone made a comment on the 357 board that "lifers" need to move on as RAH should only be a stepping-stone. ..i agree. With that being said, why then is the nc asking for Eden????

Your recall is fuzzy...on a great many things, it would seem.

Company propaganda:
BS!
This entire LBFO was the ULTIMATE DISRESPECT of the entire process, particularly considering that it exposed the company's bad faith negotiating for all to see.
For those of you who spent time instructing, this is what's known as "deflection." The only reason that the company suddenly wants the process "respected" is because they have to know that they are dangerously close to triggering a release from the NBM.
Don't be fooled by the company's attempts to turn the union into a bigger bogeyman with such juvenile tactics.
Of course, they resonate with some, as demonstrated earlier in this thread.
On another point, IBT Local 357’s announcement regarding a new proposal prompted the Company to confirm with the National Mediation Board that it had not received such a document. The Company and the Union both remain under the direction of the NMB and – as such – all such materials should be submitted to the NMB's attention through the mediator. The Company confirmed with the NMB our willingness to continue to respect this process.

It appears my source was,at least, half right. Back to the 'bargaining table' though this is not. RAH is only willing to fix minor things, to put it briefly.
Hey sqkvfr, you seem to have a special place in your heart for me; you wouldn't happend to be a Dubuque alum, would you?

I am not surprised that there are others.
