I find it funny, many of the same old characters can only say the same old thing as if there is a string in their back that's being pulled. It rarely anything about the issues and always about a person.

I guess when you're bankrupt of anything else, it's the only thing left to do ?

The question is will it significantly change anything ? Will more E-175's bring in more street hires ? Will adding E-175's to ORD as a domicile to take over some of the soon to be extinct AA S80 flying there bring in more street pilots ? Will more fly-through to MIA bring in more street pilots ?

The new street class is reported to have a mind-numbing stampede of...........................4 pilots. Yes, that WAS gleaned from EL, but good news alone will not solve anything for Envoy as the well is dry and be it 4 or 8 pilots a month, it wont matter in the long run as the game of "kick the can" is still very much in play at AAG and Envoy is a kickable can and with continued kicking it like any repeatedly kicked can shrinks.

A lot of possibilities are on the table considering it's starting to sink in there just isn't anyone out there to scoop up off the street (at least not in any meaningful numbers). That being said, most pilots still won't jump ship to get at the end of a conga line to AA that has such a history of flim-flammary and most Envoy pilots wont jump ship unless its to another legacy or a decent LCC. The latest push by the chief procurer here is that pilots who leave for decent LCC's are making a mistake as they know they will never convince anyone of passing on Delta or United and very, very few will jump laterally to another regional no matter how bad it gets at Envoy, so the only internal target left is the LCC consideration.

Of course, that won't do much for luring in pilots from other regionals (AKA "poaching") as most simply won't start over in this hellish segment of the industry for questionable promises based on inflated and optimistic projections. The end result will continue to be the shrinking of the regional industry itself and not surprisingly Envoy as well.

I don't think the well is dry YET. Endevor is still filling classes with 40-50 people and republic was (maybe they still are) filling classes as well. But in order for you see those numbers at the WOs, AAG is going to have to do something better.

From what I understand they're unparking CRJ-200s from thr desert and growing their CRJ-900 fleet. They're able to hire so much because first year pay comes out to around 50k.
