All this is of course is rendered moot by the fact that it looks like express guys now have "FDJ AA". As I said perhaps this is what caused the whole situation in the first place.
You can't see that 5 days out. You clearly don't understand.

I was just told the union and company are fixing both issues.

Right, until 24 hours prior. Would you not show up either way?

You'll understand it when you flow. It's a great deal.

If the jumpseats are booked and the flight is full I wouldn't bother showing up, I book another way to work. Sometimes that means two legging it. Sucks, but you do what you have to do to get to work and back home.

Yeah, I only show up when I have a guaranteed seat.

You can't see who is what until 24 hours prior departure.... You can see how many people are listed in terms of priority but no name with FDJ AA/EAG or CJ

Ouch!! Don't think mainline would want that either because then we wouldn't have priority on our Wholly Owned flights over non wholly owns. It was created to give priority to people that work for American and it's subsidiaries.

This is basically someone finding a glitch in the system and now the glitch will probably be fixed.
Easy way to stop it is if they are caught you just suspend their travel bennies for 6 months.

It takes some real cajones for any regional puke to think that have priority on a mainline jumpseat over a mainline pilot. Wholly owned or not. You just have to know your place in the pecking order. What the **** is so difficult to understand about that simple concept?

Yeah they can be pretty arrogant and insistent. I've had to explain to angry AA pliots and the agents they have convinced that it must be so that they weren't going to be riding up front instead of our own pilot. It's only happened in ORD and I'm amazed it still does. But we do what we can to get you on. I've taken the flight attendant jumpseat several times, which off-lines can't occupy, so a mainline guy can get home. With respect to the op's topic, I'm not surprised PSA pilots do this. Integrity doesn't seem to be their thing as was demonstrated with their self-serving concessionary contract.
