No. It's not just you. Mesa is about to implode.

What do you mean "Mesa is about to implode"? It has already begun. They're hiring less than they can cover for attrition and the bases are already insufficiently staffed. Morale is at an all time low and no confidence in the MEC or management. And it's too late to right the ship.

I mean, we already know this stuff but thanks for letting us know that you know too. What is the point?
Two things need to happen:
1) The union needs to take this information and put it out to the public for potential new hires to see. The pilot group already knows how bad things are here. We already know how bad some of the hotels are and how expensive our health care plans are. Problem is, we didn't know that information when we were being recruited by Mesa. Would it have made a difference 2 or 3 years ago? Who knows, but today it certainly does and the only way for the company to change is when they can no longer hire people.
2) Enough talk! The union is ineffective until they put their foot down. They can go to the job fairs and handout information in the parking lot with this information. They could make a link to show this information. Create an ad campaign to advertise the information that is not being shared with candidates.
MAG, your pilot group already knows what you are communicating to us.... we don't need that. Send us an email when you have something significant to communicate such as we are shutting down negotiations until mgmt agrees to average industries salaries.

My problem with these "Fact Check" emails is that they are addressed to the Mesa pilot group.

Everything currently being discussed will do very little if anything. Just get the heck out, asap.

They are going to need better than average wages, AND industry LEADING QOL. 3 days off between trips for everyone. Reserves will need industry leading rules as well, will probably go senior.

Anyone have luck trading on SAP?
I traded one trip, but everything else denied for "reserve coverage below minimum.."
The reserve coverage us ALWAYS below min!!!! I'm trying to trade 17-hr for 17-hr and keep getting denied...
Pointless battle or worth emailing or calling crew scheduling??
If they don't let me trade, they'll still be below reserve buffer either way ?!?
