Has that changed?

The first month you get either $1600 or $1800 (can't remember) as well as the sign on bonus. Every month after that you get MMG (40x75). I'm in training now and currently waiting on the bonus to be deposited.

January. The explanation of benefits was during the interview, but the offer letter included the $7500 bonus.
I specifically asked the question about training pay during the in-brief, and the response I was given was that you didn't have to accept the bonus, but first paycheck wasn't until after training.

I'm literally packing to go to Dayton for initial training for PSA. I leave in the morning. I have their letter regarding the two year contract in my baggage.
What it is, regards only the bonus they are going to pay me upfront. That $15,000 all goes back to them if I don't stay a year (with some exceptions) and then it's pro-rated. ie, If I stay a year and then leave, I keep half. If I stay a year and a half I keep 3/4 of it, etc. I'm ok with signing it because I plan to stay until retirement age.
You can hire on, not take the bonus and there is no longevity commitment.
This is significantly different than a training contract.

Sounds like HR made a mistake. I share a crashpad with a captain that's on the interview team. Since summer 2014 they have paid the bonus and training pay, I guess the bonus was reduced after the contract signing.
Republic loves new hires! They throw money and other crap (Luggage, headsets, computer bags, etc.) at them constantly. Don't take the bonus if you plan on leaving within 2 years. No idea if they are enforcing it, but it could get messy
Attrition is very low for 1-2 years. Mostly those who don't make it to training or military/ prior 121 leaving to better places.
