You actually have to reach your arm into the lav as far as you can, then flush. That is the quickest access to the cockpit.

Clamp, nice job trying to hold the line, but I think we have to admit defeat. The existence of the really, really, really secret (I mean really secret) axe stored in the passenger cabin is finally out. You know, the one kept in the special box that says "If you are bad do not look in here because there is not an axe inside - this means you terrorists."

I don't think that was possible in that time frame

I feel this security procedures way over-hunting and unnecessary.

Yes, ISIS, Irak, Iran, Africa and Afghanistan has terrorists. But they are there and they hardly able to come to Europe. European flights should not follow blindly the United States. In my opinion if Europe would not follow security changes from US, then not only this tragedy would not happen but also millions of people life's would be less complicated.

I think I am right if I say (many others said before here) in this particular case that security door lock backfired the system and cost many life.
Interesting observation. aTomLondon. Interesting forum name. You may live in London, but you clearly weren't born there, or England. So why you include London in your forum name is interesting. The UK has been attacked by terrorists several times. Europe has been attacked several times. The threat is quite real. We in the US have had many terrorist attacks and more will come.

Security is important. This worthless little shxt has exposed a problem in our system which we will solve. No security is not the answer. Better security and evaluation of "problem children" is the solution. Thanks for giving your two cents. That's about what it's worth.

Mods, please delete this SSI. We don't want every potential terrorist accessing the back portal of entry. Blue ice can be deadly.
