Had a Strike Eagle do this about 10 years ago at SJ. He lit the blowers, climbed out, and landed. A Code-3 that became a Class-A mishap.

Heard about an E-2 did the same thing during night FCLP. Late go-around and took 5 or 6 inches off his props but returned and landed safely.
