One thing I've wondered about some time is that that in some of the stories about Andreas Lubitz, pictures are posted of a guy that looks similar but not quite the same.

Here's the main picture of Lubitz in front of the golden gate. It was the first picture that emerged:

Here's some of the later ones, which look like the initial picture:

However, here the similiarities stop. Here's a picture about Lubitz' supposed girlfriend who claims to be pregnant with his child. To me the man she's standing next looks a bit like Lubitz but I doubt it is him. He looks much older than the other pictures of Lubitz, and he was only 27 at the time of the crash (and hence must be max 27 in any picture of course):

This picture appears to be the same guy as in the one before, and again doesn't quite look like the first pictures:

I doubt there's any significance to this, but still find it interesting how these mixups can happen. Is it because the supposed girlfriend is an imposter contacting the media, saying she used to date Lubitz and shows them pictures with a vague resemblence - in order to get attention? Or just general media mixup? It's of course possible that it is indeed Lubitz in the other pictures - people age at different rates and it can be hard to compare pictures taken under different circumstances.

Looks the same to me. Different hair cut. People can look different if they're tired, gained/lost weight, suntan, different light, etc. Eyes/nose/mouth don't change, focus on those.

But this isn't the right internet forum for photo ID matching...

FYIW, No way are these two the same guy. Compare their left ears. Or their noses.

Mouth, hairline, & eyes check. Ear's a bit odd, but could be angle.

Nose could be camera angle.

The one on the left looks more masculine,maybe stronger jaw but that could be just age and a change in physical fitness habits (ie strength training => testosterone => more robust facial structure). 'Roids would do the same thing.

The nose is odd, but I think it's camera angle.

There are plenty of photoanalysis experts out there, they can't all have been paid off by the Illuminati.
