Is there a doctor in the house?

I agree, and the INITIAL response, one can perhaps give benefit of doubt, (if somebody dissheveled, badly dressed, obese, or really young, etc come right up and says "what's going on" you might do a double-take...), not saying it is RIGHT but maybe understandable, but the continued treatment even after the situation is clear is simply ludicrous.
On a broader issue, acknowledging the struggles of others in no way diminishes one's own accomplishments. I've done very well in life, but I am aware that others have a bit more of an uphill battle in all situations, through no fault of their own. I am always puzzled when others go to great lengths to pretend that there is somehow zero sexism / racism / ageism / class-ism etc in society.

WE DON'T!
Delta has since posted a second press release after their investigation. It turns out that three doctors were on board. Only one was able to produce documentation. That doctor was then asked to render care to the patient.
I have a feeling that Dr.Cross, consistent with her history of posting incidents of racism, took the questioning from the Flight Attendants about her medical background (which is what they're trained to do when you can't produce documentation) as acts of racism.
Why would a Flight Attendant make racist comments in public with numerous witnesses nearby? It just doesn't pass the smell test.

How do we know she was treated badly? How do we know she was subjected to racist remarks?

I'm wondering, who said anything about racist comments, did the FA say something? You actually went to her facebook page? I thought facebook pages were private or did she post public things or are you her friend?
