Default Allegiant Air 758 recording

This is the edited recording from the KSFB twr when 758 made the nose gear up landing. Listen to the seaplane pilot that has to get vectored around bravo and how mad he gets....

Clip is 6:33 long, silent parts removed.

***Moved clip to new server***

What a smack off. I'd kick the seaplane pilot right in the nuts

I think that's one case where I'd like to see some guys show up at his door that were "there to help". What an a$$hat. Nevermind the 100 or so people on the MD-80, I'm wasting fuel. If this guy can't afford an extra gallon of fuel, he shouldn't be flying.

Crew did a great job. Very calm and professional even when things were going bad.

Holy hell! I can't believe that seaplane pilot!! WTF was he thinking?!!? He does need to be kicked in the balls. I like how ATC just ignored him towards the end. LOL

Too bad the controller didn't vector a couple of F-16's his way to convince the tool to shut the heck up.

I'm pretty sure that emergency traffic gets priority. Period.

I guess he was absent from ground school the day they taught that...

I'm tempted to write to the owner of the company that owns that aircraft... Behavior like that is absolutely inexcusable. Particularly when ATC already has their hands full.

The number I heard was N368FS which was different from the photo on the frontpage of the site above, the addresses match though.

The site has a phone number and email address if anyone is interested. http://www.geocities.com/flseaplanes/ My guess is that it's a one man show, and the guy on the radio IS the owner.

LOL! Is that the airplane that guy was flying? If I were flying a heavy in the area, I would have given little bit of the wake turb. I agree with flyerjosh! That behavior has no place over the airwaves and it wouldn't be a bad idea to write that company a letter. I wonder if this guy realizes it's a privlege to fly not a right.
