Researching ANR headsets to wear in FDX jets, where cross-cockpit talking is the norm and interphone is not normally used between pilots. What works, what doesn't work, and what model(s) are you happy with? Used to use a Sennheiser on the 727, with the inboard earcup parked above my ear. Appreciate all y'all.

Since you obviously don't, your ignorance could be excused, but for your snarky post. Thanks for adding value to the conversation.

If you flew FedEx jets, you'd understand which jets, which communications panels, which ATC environments, and which crew procedures were implied by the phrasing of the question.

Welcome to the Fedex segment of the forum. Ya know...... for Fedex pilots flying Fedex aircraft and perhaps those who might be interested in doing so.
Considering the fact that not all commercially available headsets seem to play nicely with all aircraft in use throughout the industry, I think his question was valid. I brought a molded ear telex unit from my previous major airline and found it didn't work well in the MD-11. The mic created issues with my transmissions and that's obviously a no go.
Asking other Fedex pilots about what works well for them in the specific aircraft we operate seems like a pretty clear, targeted inquiry. Why ask those who work elsewhere and might be operating aircraft we don't?
