Default Centurion Air Cargo/SkyLease

Hey everyone,

Haven't seen any posts mentioning Centurion Air Cargo or Skylease.

I see they have HUGE hangars and offices here in MIA with 74's parked outside all the time.

Is Centurion/Skylease the same thing?

Is the info on the APC profiles accurate?

If anyone out there works for them it'd be great to know about pay, schedules, QOL, just basics for any possible candidate.

Thanks!

50% furloughed. They do some characters once in a while and that’s about it.

The former Centurion Cargo Center at building 916 is now operated by Amerijet. Skylease has one of the office pods, and some floor space, but 90% of that building is now Amerijet’s.

Skylease still has the hangar between Pan Am and commercial jet, and I’m told all their flight operations offices are now located in the hangar.

I can’t speak for working there, but a short google search doesn’t bode well for employment there as a pilot... especially if you like getting paid to fly.

Horrible place to work. FAA should have shutdown years ago.

They won’t. The South FL FSDO is known for their transparency, appreciation for all things safety related, not at all corrupt and a bastion of integrity.

They owe people a lot of money still. They will pay you what is owed if you go back to work for them, and not pay you if you don't come back. Real nice operation...

It's a shame because it wasn't always that bad.
