Y'all need to stop with these rumors. Especially on an aircraft that's not even flying.

I think one needs to apply common sense here. We have only one 777 that Connie could just as easily lease out to someone else to fly. We will need more than one to make the 777 work and be profitable. Of course one should expect more on the way if we ink a deal to fly the type for someone.
Connie is a legend when it comes to this stuff.

Silly question,I know it’s a bit early to ask this but figure it doesn’t hurt but do you have any idea when a 777 FO position on the kalitta career page could become available or would one have to get on th 747 or 767 to transition over to the 777? Again assuming you get more.

They’ll probably hire FOs off the street for it. Last news I heard was it was pushed to Septemberish.

It appears they are filling all 777 vacancies with people that have previous 777 experience. There are a few in the mid-March new hire class that have 777 experience hired onto the 777 here.

You won't. Kalitta hires First Officers and then places them in whatever equipment they have needs in and as they see fit. Just like almost every other airline in the United States.

You mean they do an internal bid then whatever doesn't get filled goes to new hires. Just like every other airline in the United States. Right.
