How long ago was that? Most charter operations need Argus and Wyvern status to be competitive and they require about 3,000 hours.

Unless one is an owner....when push comes to shove every employee is just a number.

And a bus driver. Or accountant. Or even home run hitter.

Combine that with the fact that 135/91 companies generally fly way less than the regionals, it will take about 5 years for a 1,500 hour pilot to get enough flight time to upgrade at a charter company.
Upgraded at 1200tt, flying about 800 hours TPIC a year. For a sense of the company's size, our outfit has maybe 25 aircraft.

Then your company isn't Argus and Wyvern certified. Lots of brokers require that.

The typical progression goes something like

Ambition->dedication->opportunity->elation->gullibility->dissatisfaction->denial->resignation.

How is that helpful? Sorry you're not happy with where you're at or the choices you've made but instead of shi**ing on aviation, your job, your employer, etc., maybe you should take a look at the one constant variable in all those situations for insight(s) to the real problem.

I love where I am! It's not a 135, though...
