I guess I'm wondering why you were applying to work at NAC "for years" when there was only talk of Miami fairly recently. And if uncertainly is a problem for you, maybe you're in the wrong profession. The biggest and best airlines have gone bankrupt, closed crew bases, and furloughed thousands with no notice whatsoever. Any pilot who thinks his job is a sure thing probably needs to pay more attention to history.

And did you ever consider that a CP might want to go fly the line precisely because things were going well? I'm pretty confident he's doing better flying than he was behind the desk. Good for him.

yea, I figured I'd add fuel to the fire. I guess my lack of digging triggered him. I don't have time to read through every page of every thread. So i'll ask and I bet there a few other people that'll benefit from it as well.

Saw a hiring post for NAC on Facebook. Is the ATP requirement a hard requirement? I have all other requirements but the ATP certificate.

Nobody knows what is or isn’t a requirement here. It changes from day to day, it seems. Unless you can get someone from management to reply. But then again, we’re in the middle of getting a new DO, CEO, COO, HR manager, etc. So the few that are left are a bit too busy to respond on forums, I imagine.

Default credit

How many hours do you typically credit each month? Does it differ from base to base?

We range from 65 hours to 85 hours, depending on your selection of lines.
Anchorage lines are typically netting 70-80 hrs. While out of domicile reserve lines get Trip Rig pay at 80+ then add per diem on top of that.

Question Hiring Info

Hey guys,

I interviewed at NAC on January 17th and I thought it went very well. They told me I could expect to hear back around the 25th but I didn't get anything. I followed up with the HR manager and she said they are running into delays with the union and it should take another week to get more information (that was last month). Its almost been a month since I've interviewed, is it safe to say I didn't get the job?
