Exclamation IPA Brothers and Sisters...

Go to the B&G and read recent post by C.W. titled "Whats wrong...."
This forum and B&G is surveiled by our manglers... Start thinking about the ammunition that you are GIVING the company.

The most recent threads regarding ANY concessions to our company that is making a "BILLION" each quarter is ridiculous.

J.S./D.E. step up and start mod'n these posts... your association needs you. Can't you see the harm to OUR associations position.

As one of the bottom 100 on seniority in 2001 I am telling you right now... that our association will protect jobs. We now have contractual language, that we didn't have then, that allows a job action to protect jobs.

Lets start marching forward shoulder next to shoulder. This sky is falling stuff is unproductive and quite frankly unprofessional. If you feel you need to "do something" join a committee or volunteer...

Just think before you start spouting your "keyboard courage".

Now for the big picture - - Spend time with your family - Enjoy the Holidays - Life is Good!!!

Mod note:

As always, if you feel a post violates TOS, the best thing to do is click on the little red triangle thingy in the lower left corner of the screen. Make sure you make a case as to why the post violates TOS. When you do that, all the mods/admins will see the post and can take action, if warranted.

Great advise. I know CW really well. He speaks with a great deal of wisdom.

Cheers,

CW

As de727ups says, report posts that violate APC's terms of service.

Discussion about potential furloughs and such might seem a waste of energy, but keep in mind the furlough notice from a few years ago occurred with a simple lull in the economy. We have never faced in 30 years what we're experiencing now. ATL runs this airline, and what they decide can determine the fate of hundreds of our pilots... For now, I simply trust the IPA to work with the company to prevent furloughs and personally think ahead and prepare for the worst (downgrades, furloughs, canceled a/c orders, etc).

We can't control what UPS does, but we can always control our reaction to their decisions.
