For those that recently interviewed with Delta...

Are the technical questions asked face to face in the interview or are they on a test (written/computer-based)

Also has anyone seen any additional gouge on HOW to answer certain questions (i.e. someone saw the CA drinking, CA didnt follow noise abatment procedures, etc etc) I imagine they are looking for a certain answer...

The technical questions are only asked on the computer (42 questions 42 mins) all multiple choice - the gouge is accurate.

Those particular questions were not asked of me, but they are looking for certain answers - but I don't know what they are!! More important is your leadership, management and conflict resolution abilities. Good Luck - which you will hear many times that day!! - BCD

Does anyone know if seniority starts from when you're hired or when you start your class-date?

You first day of class. Based on the last four of your ssn. 0000 the most senior and 9999 the plug.
All benefits start day one. Medical, Flight, etc. It may take a week or so to get the wife and kiddos added, but you are covered.

I just got the call yesterday for a class date. They offered me the 18th of June but I'm not available untill July. So I took the July 16th date. Sounds like they have two classes per month for at least the next few months.

For those of you that have started, what has the domicile breakdown been? All Atl and NYC?

Congrats Hornet and to everyone else. I put my app in towards the end of MAR and I only had one internal rec. Having not heard anything for 2 months, I decided last minute to attend the AIR Inc Job Fair in ATL this past weekend. THANKS ARJMJJ! That was golden gouge. I received the email invite to interview 2 days later and will be going to ATL in a few weeks. Everyone who has been posting on this thread has given some excellent advice and I thank you all. Guard Dude thanks for kicking this thing off! Good Luck!

With the AE just posted. It looks like you could get ATL on the 88-73 and 67ER. They do not have the 767 program up and running yet, but you will probably see new hires going to it by the end of summer.
Basically you will have a lot of options here.
