You should consider the incompetence you were shown in keeping their potential pilot candidates organized throughout the hiring process your gift.

This disorganization is just the tip of the iceberg in how badly Atlas is managed. I would not be surprised if the company is gone within five years. Even the recent Kalitta pilots hired at Atlas are all regretting their decision to come here.

You do know the regionals are hiring, right?

I have a few questions about the Amazon flying. How many Amazon 767s are already on property and when are you guys planning on having all 20 up and running? where are these planes going to be based? Thanks

One so far
Supposedly FY18 for all 20
No finalized base yet that I know of.

I'm sorry that you've received what you perceive to be bad news. As many people have been saying on this thread, this may be a blessing in disguise. There are a lot of great places to be in aviation right now. Atlas may or may not turn out to be one of them.

If you do believe that this is where you want to be, however, keep on trying. I applied for over 2.5 years before I got the "good news".

Thanks for the quick reply Pave. I'll appreciate if someone can shed some info about the QOL on the 76 side and how does it compares to the 74. I know that the 74 is mostly doing long haul trips and the 76 is mostly used for night DHL domestic ops. However it would be great if someone can share their schedule on the 76. Is it mostly on a 17 on/13 off schedule? How's reserve life? Is it better to live in base vs commuting? Thanks all!

Living in base would be great for QOL on the 767 because your Reserve would actually leave you at home. Pay sucks so when you hear us say $50K first year, it won't be much better than that 2nd year. It's still 17 days a month IF the company wants you that many. You either do long haul out of Japan or DHL short hops state side. Both are easy to hold from what I understand. The AMC stuff goes senior out of JFK. I'd find a way to live in base because if you sit Reserve all of those hotels will be imputed.

Guys,

Received a call from AC from HR on the 4th and got an interview date which was confirmed on the FAPA job fair on the 6th Jan.
Have not received any info or may accidentally have deleted it out of my spam folder.
Anybody who will interview on the 16th Jan care to send me a PM with the details?
Location, time, what to bring, all the good stuff.
Thank you very much.
