I think Genny Lee is missing you over at the ghost town, Flight Info. I see you carried the ignorance from there to here, thanks for being the most irrelevant poster on this board too.

We both work for the same shareholders, the same BOD, the same CEO, the same president, the same EVP, etc. Our CEO is the person who decided on the culture of making his own employees compete against each other in order to keep our wages lower than they would otherwise be. I'm not talking about middle management here. They just take orders from Inc. I'm honestly surprised that many of you guys don't see what's going on here.

Has nothing to do with our corporate culture or how we feel towards the company. Just because the
Majority of you guys want to burn express jet to the ground doesn't mean everyone else is unhappy. We aren't Union because ( and I know this is going to be a real shock to you) people here are generally happy.

Also it's not whipsawing, your contract makes you too expensive, it is beyond what the market dictates amongst regionals, you simply cannot compete. What would you have inc do? Lose RFPs by bidding high or bid low and be unprofitable? You aren't just competing with Skywest you're competing with all the regionals more specifically 145 operators such as TSA that are cheaper and hence win RFPs.

Has nothing to do with corporate culture? Maybe it has nothing to with how YOU feel about the company but it's certainly part of the culture of inc. None of us here want to burn anything down. That's a misconception that probably comes from the kool aid served there. Sure, none of us want to take ANY concessions but that doesn't mean we don't work with management to come to mutually agreeable solutions. For example, as we speak, the union is negotiating cost neutral PBS work rules. Also, you are more like non-union because of apathy and ignorance than anything else. Even at the lower spectrum regionals you don't see 10 days off minimum or an average line value over the upper 80s. People just don't know any better.

We are whipsawed twice! Once against all the regionals by mainline management and again against you by our own management. Again, I don't understand how reasonable people can't see that. Also, they are no longer asking us for concessions. In fact, since we voted down the TA, they've made improvements (slight) to our contract. So what changed in the market? The fact is that we were willing and still are willing to make concessions if they merged everyone. But the corporate culture doesn't allow it. Our CEO continues to say no even though all the synergies they touted back in 2010 when they bought xjt would only be amplified with a merger of everything.

No sir, this isn't about markets or competing. There is an overlying corporate culture that prevents all of us from truly working together as ONE company to make Inc more profitable. They rather do it in a way that makes us compete against each other (after having to compete against other regionals) in order to suppress our wages. The fact that they rather to that TO US rather than working WITH US to make us more profitable is the essence of culture.

What benefit is there for Skywest to merge with the mess that is expressjet besides a degradation in QOL? 10 days off? I have far more than that at 90 hours credit.

How do you define "far more"? 10-12 off seems to be the norm.

No nerve,
You and the Genny were the two of the most idiotic morons to ever digitize their mescaline/ADD, fueled hare brained thoughts on the interwebs. I thought you would not be smart enough to find this site, oh well at theist 1/2 of the idiots are gone. I imagine once you graduate high school you will discover girls or boys or farm animals, and disappear from here too.

Awwwww,
Hit a nerve, huh. You and the Genny are birds of a feather, pimply high schoolers who never got past the 9th grade mentality.
