Someone please tell me I'm wrong, and the call is coming tomorrow.

Had a women in my new hire class last year who's prior time was 100% corporate time. Mid 40s in age.

Military tends to get an interview with much lower hours than anyone else, I wouldn't compare military to civilian times.

A couple of years ago I was in the Delta presentation at WAI conference. If I remember correctly the highest score was part121/military, then corporate/part135, then instructors, general aviation.

I would recommend to add some voluntary service to your resume, get an app review, do some networking and a internal letter of rec. That will get your app pulled for score. Also, update your app at least once a month, after 60 days it drops from their system.

Also take in consideration that they are not hiring as much as couple of years ago, they can take more time for invites to go out and be more picky.

Good luck and don’t give up, you’ll get it.

Very true. I would add that military fighter vs. heavy is another disparity in times. So be careful comparing civ hours to a guy/gal who has 1500 TT in military fighters and being too discouraged - at least by the comparison. Best of luck.

Any idea of how much 121 time it takes for the military rotor guys to get a call? Big picture is important of course. BA, working on my master's, volunteer work (canine rescue because I enjoy it, not simply for my resume), zero aviation failures of any kind, now building my 121 time.

100 piston
100 Jet
2300 Mil Contract and 91 corporate King Air

Helo time was about 1000 in various flavors of 60s.
2500ish in Jet Rangers. 500ish in Robbies, 47s, Russian stuff.
