Hey Lee Moak....
Lee Moak is embarrassed that the ASA/XJT merger is taking so long and is worse than the USAir/AWA merger. Lee doesn't like the fact that we debate it on message boards and FB. Lee cares more about ALPA's reputation than he does about ASA/XJT.
Guess what Lee, maybe if the DAL MEC had listened to the ASA and CMR MECs over a decade we wouldn't be in this situation. You and ALPA failed at the job of scope. You have failed as a leader. I really don't care that you got feathers in a ruffle over all of this message board ranting about your failures.
Call me if you want to defend your failures.....

I think he's in the union at some level. They had a meeting last week (I think), with both sides and national, including Moak. I'm sure it has been discussed. If Lee Moak is anything like what I have read, I don't doubt what Joe said.

Does Lee Moak even care? Not a troll/bait question. Seriously, do any of you have any indication that Lee Moak has even the SLIGHTEST concern for the regional airlines/Fee For Departure sector? Has he ever shown TRUE action for stopping the race to the bottom or is it all empty words - ignoring those ALPA carriers who held the line (ExpressJet and Eagle, RAH honorable non-alpa) or would he rather celebrate improve career progression at PSA and PDT who, it really cannot be argued otherwise, screwed over the rest?
No - he cares about NIA, Dubai exit taxes, and HOLY FLIPPIN HELL! A NEW AIRPORT WITH KCM!

Yeah, Ive been reading these forums for many years, and though Joe Merchant is just a screen name to me, he seemed to be a voice that rises above the din so to speak....So I found his post interesting. Didnt know he was higher up in the union. Thanks.

There are 4633 paying dues! So GO PACK SAND!
ALPA's epic fail. Still waiting for the 2000 Board Of Directors Meeting Bilateral Scope Impact Committee to come up with a plan for the Regional Jets. I guess one day that committee will come up with a plan.

Unions are supposed to stand for solidarity, given the main tool of the union is dead because of the NMB and RLA. Seeing the epic fail, in ALPA supporting PSA's and PDT's contracts, while other airlines of the same union are fighting for better contracts, shows the complete break down in solidarity. I saw first hand at my old company how ALPA screwed us over in a merger. Mainline or not ALPA has no ones interest in mind except that of their own. Until there is solidarity and a union that supports that, it will always be managements will.
