That one should come out after the first rounds with the NMB. They have posted one of those letters every time I believe.

It's all part of the scripted program. A company lackey climbing the ladder.

One things for certain, the HK guys need to be very careful, the new chief pilot isn't shy about letting everyone know where his loyalties lie.
Couldn't agree more, JP's missive must have been approved at a much higher level to be posted on PFC. As with most communications and policy decisions from the company, this will only solidify our resolve, especially in the wake of record earnings almost every quarter combined with falling fuel prices.

So why do we have a system that allows an ALPA member negotiate on behalf of the company. If you want to sell us all out for a bonus you should have to give up your seniority number, union membership and be an at will employee. Good luck. Make your bonus if you succeed but you will never be part of the labor team if management later decides that you suck in management. We cannot be the fallback option for guys who would sell us out.

APC rumor mill said that BM (former union Negotiating Committee chairman!*?) resigned from ALPA prior to receiving a big bonus ... does that mean he doesn't have to pay dues on his bonus?

You know he doesn't care. Neither does BM.

Is there a contest to see who can be callous and self serving enough to assume PC's duties when he turns 65?

New Rule:
When you choose to negotiate for company, your pilot pension is frozen in return for an "industry leading" DC plan.
