What I am saying is that when we go back to the credit push months, anyone that enables MLR, doesn’t count towards the “30% credit push limit”.
I dont think anyone is arguing against your second paragraph.

Again. To increase the range to 85 its desire mlr threshold. As in bottom of the "other" tab. Most of the confusion from the pilot group on mlr revolves around threshold v mlr enable. Two different settings that does two different things. MLR enable (option 2 now, used to be 3) is saying if you work over 85 for whatever reason, you want 150. If youre ny based and have two training events in a month you're bid is gonna say 75 - 80 hours (because thats just what you ended up with), but when you're done with 6-12 hours of dhd for those sim events, which is done after bid, youre actually above 85. So MLR enable (if enabled) is saying, "make it rain". Threshold has very few real world uses.

Im not addressing avros complaint. I just wanted to highlight he was interchanging terms and for every reader to please enable mlr so you dont leave money on the table.

Correct but MLR only kicks in if you are *awarded* over 85 not *work* over 85. Over blocking, modifications for IROPs would not count towards the 85

They dont, but the dhd dont count in the award either. So youll look like youre awarded 77 and youre really at 85. Thats what they must go off of.

Genuinely curious. Why would they not adjust to a realistic reserve level?

Because if they let people drop trips they will have to pay 150% due to them going into opentime. They are being cheap and it’s making it so we can’t manipulate our schedules.

Wrong. Blame delta for allocating more flying to OO.

That would be a quick, easy, and likely uncontested fix... as we already have the BDM code.... even the trolls at Delta IT should be able to figure out how to create a straight pay drop pay code.

Why would it be so hard to prohibit reserve from picking up opentime after a drop? Many reserves that drop, do not want opentime. As usual, a few wrecking it for the many?

Why do you think the majority of reserve drops are to actually drop? Reserve pilots drop reserve to grab trips. Maybe the union could verify if we asked them, but I'd put it at 8/10s of pilots (CA and FO) are drop/pickups. In MSP I'd expect a reversal of the norm, (pilots dropping to drop and stay off), but MSP is still our smallest base and least able to throw the curve off.
