Of course, the plan seems to change pretty regularly, so take that for what it is worth, but that seems to pass the smell test based on what we have seen/heard.
So do you know how many more classes of nh s this year after the July 30 class? Letter from CD said 16 classes total "this round" that began in Dec 13. 7/30 will be class 14, so one in August and one in September?

Thanks

Received the phone call today for an August 6th class. Interviewed on June 10th. I have the type rating with 12,000 + hours.

Default Classes

Planning is saying transition class next week. One new hire August 6 and one in September. That gets us to our 16 total classes. Please update if you have heard different.

Does that mean that all nh classes have been filled for 2014?

Yes. DB was yesterday. About 40 hired for 2 classes. As of now, no more classes planned for 2014.

I heard all calls have been made.

You got notified of being hired AND got your class date on the same day? I'm still waiting on the class date call. Interviewed June 8th.

I am just a new hire, so take this for what it is worth, but I was told at the schoolhouse 2 more August classes and one September for three more total. The rest are transition. Interviews are done. Decision board is done. They generally don't call for classes until a few weeks prior and they are super busy right now with new classes starting every week or two weeks plus captain upgrade. Everyone that received a call from a chief pilot should get a class spot in one of those classes.

We are reaching the deadline for the AirTran partition to be done, so I would expect the bulk of the training capacity to be devoted to that. To say that the schoolhouse is busy right now is an understatement.
