Default MAC OS Safari and Delta Net

Just got a Macbook Pro and Travelnet does not work on it when I click on the "I agree" tab. Has anyone experienced this and what is the solution?
Thanks.

I get the same thing with Safari. Download Firefox (www.firefox.com), works just fine on that.

Did that, and works great. Thank you. Wonder why Safari doesn't work for that application? Anyway thanks again.

I've resisted the temptation to get a mac because most employers are going more and more web-based, and their developers always design and test functionality using IE...if they support anything else, it's often afterthought. Especially the DoD.

Alternative browsers work fine for browsing in most cases, but interactive functionality can be a problem.

Default Safari 3.0.4 and OS 10.5.1

WOW just tried to access Travel NET with the new version of Safari (3.0.4/ OS 10.5.1) and I'm getting the same results that yall got.

I know it worked with the older version of Safari.

PBS was the only thing that I use to have a problem with on Safari so I just used Firefox for that.

The help page says :

Macintosh Safari (Leopard) - TravelNet incompatibility

here's the link: http://dlnet.delta.com/extranet_help.html#mac

Right now DeltaNet doesn't work at all with Safari 3.x but does work with the old version of Safari 2.x

I would imagine since Safari 3.x came out not too long ago that a fix will be made, it's jut so new (they did make it work with the old version of Safari after all...)

On the other hand Mobile Safari on the iPhone can pull up DeltaNet, but can't access Trvelnet past the "I Agree" button...

Cheers
George

You are correct, when I purchased my mac I played with older Safari and Travel net worked. However the Leopard version did not. Firefox way to go.

Rick, you'd be surprised to see that more and more developers are catering the Mac nation. While they are still catering to IE, they are also catering to Firefox, which is both Mac and PC. Most of the online stuff at XJT and CAL started out to be IE compatable but now everything is IE and FF compatable. DOD is probably a different story, though.
