Default V speeds for CRJ-700 MS flight sim 2004

Hey how about taking a quick break from talking about airlines,QOL,pay rates, fuel prices and management and giving me some
real life numbers for my MS flight simulator 2004 program? The numbers I am looking for are for the CRJ-700. I have some numbers from a 100ER @45,000 lbs but need to know if they are close enough to the CRJ-700 at a comparable weight. And any insight into the N1 used at Vref would be great.
I have downloaded a great Texas air CRJ airplane into Flight sim 2004 (I have the file if anyone wants to download it).

Are these close enough to a 700?
CRJ 100ER Wt (45,000 lbs)
Vso (107)
VR (131)
V1 (126)
V2 (137)
Vfs (173)
Vref (140) flaps 45 (and what is approx N1?)
What is the approx balanced field length at gross?
What is the shortest field you have gone into ?

Thanks in advance.

V speeds change based upon weight. Are you looking for all speeds, or just an average for a particular weight?

I would say average for the basic 700 (or is it the 701) model. My specs have it as Max ramp weight 73,000 lbs, Max landing wt 67,000. If you have some numbers 95% of gross max landing weight that might do it. And what might be the over the fence speed? Still at Vref or just slightly less? I am having trouble getting this thing to want to sit down. It likes to float half way down the runway. (at least my simulator anyway) Are you looking at N1 over the fence or is it all airspeed and attitude?

And a bonus question do you plan and call out the climb speeds after V1 like V2 and the segment 3 and segment 4 climb speeds? I know ATC figures into this but prolly not before segment 4 climb (1500 agl) is done.
I want to practice flying glass before I interview and not make a total fool out of myself.
Cheers,

I don't fly the 700's but I was trying to get ahold of my friend who does and ask him what they use. I have jumpseated in a 700 before, and I know that it is a plane that really doesn't carry alot of lift if power is at idle. A lot of planes can handle pulling the power to idle at the 30 foot mark, NOT this one. I was on one one day that the FO pulled the power back to idle on speed at 30ft and that sucker slammed the runway!!! As for call out speeds, our call out is basically, "80kts, V1, rotate, pos rate, gear up. V2 is not a call out for alot of planes, just there as a reference basically.

Yep, here is is:
It has a nice installer. Just follow the readme.txt.

There is a CRJ200 by the same company (Texas Air)

That was a slick installer, thanks. The cockpit has only the FO sitting in there, with a big grin on his face. I guess because he's about to take that ship up for a solo joyride

Default A little help please....

Hi!

I'm building a 1/3 scale DC-9-10 in my basement, out of an old moped, some scrap aluminum, some flight instruments I bought on E-BAY, and a Commodore 64.

Does anyone know the V-Speeds for the aircraft? Should I divide them by 3?

Anyone want a ride?

Thanks!

Have any pics on a website? I'd love to see them!

Here are some numbers for the CRJ-700 at 59,000lbs landing weight (from a CRJ POH). We use Vref for landing - V1 is for takeoff only btw.

The speeds vary on your flap setting for landing (normal landing is flaps 45)

Flaps Vref (kias)
0 167
8 145
20 139
30 135
45 127 (you want to be at this speed over the fence with flaps 45)

V2GA (V2 go around speed - fly this if you make a missed approach until you are at a safe altitude ie 1000' AGL)

135 kias

Takeoff speeds:

Flaps 8
V1 124 (decision speed)
VR 124 (rotation or liftoff speed)
V2 138 (best rate of climb single engine speed)

Flaps 20
V1 121
Vr 121
V2 133

Hope this helps
