Default A300 Fuel Dump

As I was fueling a FDX A300 the other day, I happened to notice that one one of the inner flap fairings there is circular portion that I thought was the dump spout. But I saw that it was not hollow. It got me thinking as to where the spout is located and if the A300 can dump fuel in an emergency?

Default A300 dump system

The FDX Airbus fleet does not have fuel dump systems, never ordered with new aircraft or bought used aircarft with them.

Most A 300's have fuel dumping capability. Although they are used so little that they may not work. I heard a story that a friend tried dumping fuel once and it did not work. I guess the valves would not cycle correctly. But yes if you have that system on a Bus that is where is is.

Thats what I was thinking it would be too Skid.

I stopped by the mechanics office and asked them about it. The reply I was told echoed what nitefltguy responded with. That their fleet does not have them. Although he told me about the Auto CG system which was very interesting to learn about.
