did anyone that is starting indoc on the 21st get an email confirming hotel reservations in Houston starting 2/10? I thought Houston was only for 737 training, and we had 73,76, and A320 as options with a bid on the first or second day of indoc. Did the whole class get vectored to the 737?

We already have confirmed training in Denver for indoc starting January 21st. The other reservation I'm talking about is separate and is from 2/10-3/23. I'm just wondering if our fate is sealed(how big can i make this emoticon)

No. They were paying 200% for pickup flying from 21 Dec to 13 Jan in some equipment categories. They're training as many as the schoolhouse will allow (and then some using MIA for recurring) into foreseeable future.

Any reason to believe, with the new vacancy bid just released, that there is no more 73 slots for upcoming scheduled classes? Now that there are 75 newly announced 76T slots, but no 73 slots, anybody think the aircraft already assigned to upcoming classes got pulled and replaced with 76Ts?

There is still an enormous number of unfilled 737 positions from the prior equipment bid that still need to be filled with new hires. The 737 fleet will be running at max training capacity for the foreseeable future. In addition, with the 737 fleet being the junior aircraft there will almost certainly be "unadvertised" FO vacancies on the 737 fleet as a result of this bid. Going forward the company will not even need to advertise as many FO vacancies on the 737 because that is where they will naturally occur. Ditto for the 320.
But...rumor suggests that the company finally realized the ratio of FO to CA positions is askew and there will be more 737 training slots used for CA training than in the original plan for the first half of 2014.
