Of the poolies out there who were placed into April classes thus far (1st, 8th, 15th), what were the numbers for airframes? How many 76T and how many A320?

No numbers have been given, nor will they. The actual assignments do not take place until class starts...we (poolie thread) rarely hear from folks once they start class. You maybe able to search this thread to find some details in the past.

No way! Much sooner I pray! You're going early summer! If it's fall, as you hopefully jest, then there will be a good number of us that will go past 1 year in the pool and expire. That would be horrible!

FWIW, based the info that has been PMed to me...28 Oct interview will likely be late July/August at an "optimistic point of view".

Who knows for sure what is going to happen but unless the numbers start going up on weekly newhires it is going to be beyond summer.

Anyone heard if the 737 CA upgrades will be completed in May?

If so, June could start seeing some newhires return to the 737 pipeline and maybe the classes will start to have more newhires per week.

It is my sincere hope (belief, actually) that the one-year rule that everyone seems to quote before poolies "expire" is a rule that applies if the poolie chooses to defer for whatever reason. In this current situation, I truly believe that united will honor the offers of employment that it has made to all of us. After all, the delay is not our doing...

Delta dumped their poolies in 2008 when this happened. All the people that got dumped had to reinterview and they were not the 1st to interview when the gates opened at DAL last year. Sad
